I think I’m in shock.

I was surfing and found this website that took a splice of a video I JUST recorded at the Ghost gig at the Double Door on the 3rd!!! They took something so innocent and turned it… dirty. Like, kinky dirrrty! rotfl I don’t know if I should be angry or applaud their determination! The things that happen on the World Wide Web. smh. Gotta love horny fans. Skål guys!

I am a part-time publicist but I am HORRIBLE at promoting my own stuff. Sorry, I forgot to inform you guys that I do e-reader book covers! Not great at it yet. Probably because I am slightly againstmanipulated photographs but you have to roll with the times. Right?! Here’s what I’ve been working on with erotica writer (and my bff) Sharita. Note to self: be careful with what you tell your friends who are writers. Your experiences my become fodder for the Gods!

(At left) Reluctant Groupie’s “Shot One” is loosly based off an experience I had. However, my Sharita has a VERY vivid imagination! lol (At bottom) “Metalrotica” is a series of stories she’s picked up on our travels in the industry. Oui, you will NEVER know if it really happened or not. EVER. Nay, I will not tell you. Stop it! I’m serious. Forreals, stop asking.

After “The Insane Injustices in the Death of Trayvon Martin Trial”, I found a glimmer of hope. My heavy heart lessen its load by viewing Pakistanian born Malala Yousafzai, address the United Nations on Friday the 12th of July, on her 16th birthday no less! You may remember, the Taliban shot her in the head for campaigning for girls’ education and speaking against Pakistani militants.

Be ashamed adults who don’t think this effects you. Be ashamed politicians who don’t want gun reform. Be ashamed adults who do not tattletale on the ongoings in your decomposing neighborhoods. This young lady from a third world country has more courage than you! If you can’t stand up for your rights, could you at least stand up for the sake of the children? YOUR children, godchildren, nieces/nephews, cousins… We have the power to move mountains but you have to believe it can start with you.

le nouveau moiA hearty thank you to mover and shaker (Downtown) Scotty Brown. Scotty has been an acquaintance I’ve known since I became legal (maybe a little longer but let’s not get anyone in trouble, shall we;-). I’ve often admire his relentless passion for living life to the fullest since ‘our Avalon days’. He posted this poignant prose on FB that encompassed everything I believe to date and will be moving forward with in the new year. Why conjure up some poetic hubbub when you can borrow it! Blessings to you guys, now & always. Skol!!!
