“Eleven. Exactly. One louder.” ~ Nigel Tufnel

Along with celebrating our country’s independence, it’s FourteenG’s anniversary! I owe part of my career to these beauties and I am so #thankfulyou weren’t afraid to walk that line with me. I amour/kärlek/love you so hard@karmaelise @sharitalira (@kimisha too). Here’s to another decade of honest reporting, #girl empowerment, expanding foreign relations & the destroying of livers on every continent!!! lol emojiemojiemoji #blackgirlsrock #equalrights#latergram #instagood #fbf #flashbackfriday #picoftheday #forthofjuly#birthday #anniversary #metal #music

You know that feeling in your gut when you turn in your term paper to your professor?! That’s how I felt when I saw this pic of fellow #metal journalist Laina Dawes & her chat with musician/writer @alexskolnick The realization that one of your idols, since age 16, will flip through those pages and discover just how potty-mouthed & unladylike you truly CAN be!!! emojiemojiAHHH! Fuck. This is worst than I thought… lmao #instagood #latergram #fbf #testament #waydh

“What do you MEAN Matt Barlow isn’t singing with Iced Earth?!” Again. I’ve been a looongtime fan of their’s and to hear that one of my all time favorite screamers wasn’t doing his duty on vocals for this year’s Worldwide Plagues Tour, I in turn, cried. Okay, I was really, really bummed but to my surprise once I stepped “into the pit”, FourteenG alum Into Eternity’s frontman, Stu Block, was at the helm. You couldn’t wipe the grin from both our faces!

Now, I’m happy again. The end.
